The debut book. Focusing on ideas of self, gender presentation, and personal connections to color- this book is a introduction to the ‘palette of references,’ that influence my work. Constructed over three months, each photo was taken with items and/or props on hand, with efforts to match the feelings each color invokes. ‘Life and Times of the Orange Eaters’ draws upon the idea of falling just short of first place: that no matter how hard you try, you will never make a place that you truly belong to.
